Innovation Network SL and Osmium Italy SRL as owners of the processing of personal data pursuant to the EU Regulation 679/2016 applicable from 25 May 2018 - General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR") (from now on forward Privacy Code and GDPR are collectively referred to as "Applicable Laws") recognizes the importance of the protection of personal data and considers its protection one of the objectives of its business.
Before disclosing any personal data, the owner invites you to carefully read this Privacy Policy, as it contains important information on the protection of personal data and on the security measures adopted to guarantee its confidentiality in full compliance with the Applicable Laws.
This Privacy Policy is intended only for the rdi.network site, while it does not apply to other websites that may be consulted through external links; it is intended as information provided pursuant to art. 13 of the Applicable Laws to those who interact with the site.

With reference to the Applicable Laws, we inform you that the Data Controllers are Innovation Network SL and Osmium Italy SRL, companies with registered offices in Barcelona, Carrer d’Entença, 320 (VAT Nr. ESB67579763) and in Turin, C.so Castelfidardo 30/A (VAT Nr. 12914450015), in the person of their legal representative. 2. PERSONAL DATA SUBJECT TO PROCESSING
"Personal Data" means any information concerning an identified or identifiable natural person with particular reference to an identifier such as the name, an identification number, location data, an online identification or one or more characteristic elements of his physical identity physiological, psychic, economic, cultural or social.
The Personal Data collected by the Site are those that you voluntarily provide in addition to the metadata - browsing data - which could be collected automatically.
a. Metadata - Navigation data
You have the possibility to use the Site without providing any personal data; however, the computer systems of the Site collect some Personal Data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. This is information that is not collected to be associated with you, but which by its very nature could, through processing and association with data held by third parties, allow you to be identified.
The data thus collected are the IP addresses or domain names of the devices used to connect to the Site, the addresses in URI ( Uniform Resource Identifier ) notation of the requested resources, the time of the request, the method used in submitting the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (successful, error, etc.) and other parameters relating to your operating system and IT environment.
The collection of this data is necessary to allow you to use the Site - given the architecture of the systems used - and for reasons of IT security and any verification or verification in the event of computer crimes against the Site, Innovation Network SL and Osmium Italy SRL or third parties. These data will be processed in compliance with the Applicable Laws for the purposes and with the methods indicated below.
Communicating this data and authorizing us to process it is optional, but failure to provide it could, also for technical reasons, make it impossible to obtain the requested service. The owner will process these data in compliance with the Applicable Laws assuming that they refer to you and to third parties that you have expressly authorized according to the law: in this case you operate as an independent Data Controller assuming all responsibility and therefore indemnify and exempt Innovation Network SL and Osmium Italy SRL from any claim or damage that may arise from the interested parties you are dealing with and providing personal data in violation of the Applicable Laws or without their consent.
c. Particular data
None of the above-mentioned Personal Data, collected by the Data Controller through the Site can be defined as a Particular Data (art.9 EU Regulation 2016/679 - GDPR). If such data were transmitted by you, in the absence of your explicit written consent, we will delete them immediately.

3. PURPOSE, LEGAL BASIS AND MANDATORY OR OPTIONAL NATURE OF THE PROCESSING
The Personal Data you provide through the Site will be processed by the owner for the following purposes:
a) purposes related to the execution of a contract of which you are a part or to the execution of pre-contractual measures adopted at your request (e.g. contact request via the Contact form or e-mail, registration to the newsletter service, etc.);
b) purposes of statistical research / analysis on aggregate or anonymous data, without therefore the possibility of identifying the user, aimed at measuring the functioning of the Site, measuring traffic and evaluating usability and interest;
c) purposes related to the fulfilment of a legal obligation to which the owner is subject;
d) purposes necessary to ascertain, exercise or defend a right in court or whenever the judicial authorities exercise their jurisdictional functions.
The legal basis for the processing of Personal Data for the purposes referred to in point a) is the provision of a service or the response to a request that does not require consent pursuant to the Applicable Laws.
In case of subscription to the newsletter service, the Personal Data will also be processed for the purpose of sending promotional and advertising communications and for commercial and marketing purposes. The consent for this treatment will be specifically requested at the time of registration and can be revoked at any time by exercising your right to unsubscribe from the newsletter. The relative treatment will however take place, in the manner referred to in point 4 below, in compliance with the Applicable Laws and in compliance with the principles of proportionality and correctness.
The purpose referred to in point b) does not involve the processing of Personal Data, while the purpose referred to in point d) represents a legitimate processing of Personal Data pursuant to the Applicable Laws since, once the Personal Data has been provided, the treatment is indeed necessary to fulfil a legal obligation to which the owner is subject. The provision of your Personal Data for the purposes listed above is optional, but their failure to provide it could make it impossible to meet your request or fulfil a legal obligation to which the owner is subject.
4. DATA PROCESSING METHODS
The processing of your personal data takes place using manual, IT and telematic tools with logic strictly related to the aforementioned purposes and, in any case, in order to guarantee the security and confidentiality of the data and with your commitment to promptly communicate any corrections, modification and updates.
For the processing, storage and processing of Personal Data, the Data Controller may make use of third party collaboration by giving specific companies, studies, entities and external collaborators appointed as Managers, always and only limited to the treatment that will be carried out by them directly; in such cases, we will make sure that the treatment in compliance with criteria suitable to guarantee security and confidentiality.
5. RECIPIENTS AND DATA TRANSFER
Your Personal Data may be shared, for the purposes specified in point 3, with:
a. subjects necessary for the provision of the services offered by the Site, including by way of example the sending of e-mails and the analysis of the functioning of the Site who typically act as data controllers;

6. DURATION OF DATA PROCESSING AND STORAGE
We retain personal data to provide our services, stay in contact with you and to comply with Applicable Laws, regulations and professional obligations that we are subject to. Unless a different time frame applies as a result of business needs or specific legal, regulatory, or contractual requirements, we retain personal data for a period of 5 years.
Examples of different time frames include but are not limited to those relating to our obligation to retain data concerning European Union research projects (H2020, Action Grants, FP7, etc.) for up to 10 years after the end of the project (unless further retention is requested by auditors). Where the records and documentation containing personal data have been collected within the delivery of an EC project, the Commission/Agency will process it in compliance with Regulation No 45/2001 (archived for at least 5 years after the balance is paid unless there are ongoing procedures such as audits, investigations or litigations, in which case the evidence must be kept until these end, even if this is longer than five years). After the expiry of the retention period, and unless further legitimate grounds for retention arise, we will dispose of personal data in a secure manner.
7. YOUR RIGHTS
Within the limits of the Applicable Laws, your rights regarding the Personal Data transmitted and the processing operated by the Owner are as follows:
- Access your personal data and know its content and treatment, and ask for its portability to obtain a copy in a structured format, commonly used and readable by an automatic device;
- Request the modification, rectification or cancellation of your Personal Data;
- Oppose to the treatment by the Owner or third parties, or ask for their limitation, and oppose the automated treatment;
- Propose a complaint to the competent supervisory authority (Guarantor for the Protection of Personal Data) if you believe that the processing of your Personal Data is contrary to current legislation.

This Privacy Policy is effective from 13/09/2023, the owner reserves the right to modify or simply update its content, in part or completely, also due to changes in the Applicable Laws.
